Frenchtown Elementary School: Full-Time K-6 Teacher (Immediate Opening)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.

• Encourage curiosity and a love for learning through hands-on activities 

• Collaborate with fellow educators and engage with families to support student growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ teaching certification for K-6

• Preferred additional certification in Special Education, Middle School ELA, or other middle school content area 

• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Substitute Teachers and Aides must have, or be able to obtain, at minimum a Hunterdon County Substitute Certificate which requires a minimum of 30 college credits (we can assist with obtaining a certificate) and pass a Mantoux (TB) test and criminal history background check.  Substitute nurses must have a nursing degree in addition to the county substitute certificate.
