Looking for a fun spring break activity for your FES student? Frenchtown Elementary School and ArtYard are teaming up to host a week-long Spring Break Puppetry Camp for students in Grades 2–8!
Led by artist Justin Lander of @moderntimestheater, campers will:
-Create their own papier-mâché hand puppets
-Invent short puppet shows or scenes
-Experiment with shadow puppetry and object theater
-Explore creativity through hands-on art and storytelling
It’s a playful crash course in puppetry where imagination takes the lead, and things might get a little messy, so send your child in clothes that can handle some creative chaos.
Open to FES students in Grades 2–8. The Spring Break Camp is from April 6 to 10, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Spots are limited — sign up today! Check your FES email or reach out to 908-996-2751 for details!
Be sure to check out the details! #artyard #alwaysaterrier 🐾

FES would like to congratulate Ronin on receiving the Unsung Heroes Award this week at the Hunterdon County School Boards Association Reception! Ronin has grown in confidence, and we are now seeing that same commitment and focus shine through in the classroom academically. Beyond the classroom, he is also a dedicated musician and soccer player. Ronin has been in the band for four years as a percussionist and had a very successful 8th-grade soccer campaign, scoring 17 goals and a number of assists for his team. He really enjoys spending time with his family, and it’s clear that the values of love, strength, and support have helped shape the amazing young person we see today. Ronin is a truly deserving recipient of the Unsung Hero Award. Congratulations, Ronin, FES is so proud of you! 👏#alwaysaterrier
